TANK DESCRIPTION

SIZE: 90 gal. viewable from both sides

FILTRATION:The spray bars are each fed from individual MAGNUM 350's, with only
floss filters, ( not R.M.'s recommendation) although their changed with each water     change.  The return water is taken from each end by way of a homemade surface skimmer  ( not fully perfected)   Hanging on the back is a CPR skimmer which runs full time.

LIGHTING: (4) 110 watt VHO's  & ICECAP BALLAST --  2 Actinic & 2 Actinic blue.
10 hours/day -- 4.89 watts/gal.

BASE: Approximately 1/2" of ARAGONITE SAND -- for the purpose of brightening
up the lower part of the tank and covering the unfinished look of the bottom of      the aquarium.  Approximately 60 to 80# of live rock,  no base rock was used as all the rock was transfered from an existing set-up. The interior of the two rock mounds is left open to offer caves for hiding areas.

CHEMISTRY: Temperature is held to a 78 to 80 degree range.  Ammonia, Nitrite, & Nitrate, all hold as low as the scale allows,  Salt is approximately 1.025, Calcium is in the 350 to 400 range.  PH holds at 8.2  --  all water runs through a DI system before being added to the aquarium.
