Talking to people who have tanks I admire. ALWAYS see the tank of the person who is giving you advice. Is it better than yours? Do you want yours to look like theirs? Have you seen enough tanks that you REALLY know what a good one looks like? Join your local aquarium society. Read every book printed. Even read Theil's, then ignore them. Best book: SprungandDelbeek or Fossa
