1. What size tank in gallons and aprox LxW 4'x2'x2'. 400litres. 120 gallon
2. Amount of liverock aprox. lb. No idea of weight. Unusual for rock to be bought by weight in Australia. I have a lot of GBR rock - approx 1/3 tank volume.
3. Substrate Y/N lb.amount, thickness, type.Varies from 1/2" to 11/2" of coral reef sand taken from a coral reef atoll on the GBR.
4. Sump Y/N size in gallons 60litres. or aprox 16 gallon
5. Do you use a prefilter Y/N Yes, filter wool and sponge.
6. Frequency of water changes and amount changed Usually every 2-3 weeks. Either 75 or 100litres changed at a time.
7. Preferred salt mix Don't use synthetic salt. I collect fresh ocean water or occasionally purchase fresh from LFS.
8. Preferred additives Seachem Reef Builder, Reef Calcium, Reef Iodide, Reef Complete.
9. Preferred test kits Rarely test anymore. I still have some old test kits purchased 5-6yrs ago. Aquasonic and Red Sea. If I suspect a problem I perform a water change.
10. Method of adding calcium 15ml of Reef complete and 5ml of Reef Calcium added twice a week.
11. Aprox water turnover X times per hour Never bothered to calculate. Besides sump returns, I have an 802 powerhead for in-tank circulation.

What you feel is the biggest challenge in keeping a reef tank Understanding the biology, requirements and compatibility of the animals in the tank such that they thrive and are long-lived rather than merely survive. Need to resist the temptation to buy one of every thing in the LFS because it looks good or I know it's too difficult to keep in marine aquaria.
