Your opinion on types of skimmers or filtration
1-I intended to go on with EcoSystem as I told you once. It is suppose to be easy and somewhat affordable (don't take it bad, I read all your book but I just do not like the idea of 24h skimming). A couple of independent pet shops have tanks on that system in my area. Beautiful tanks loaded with beautiful corals of all colors. One have been running for three years. I was told that this AND skimming would be an Excellent choice...The in sump Red Devil looks very interesting. I'd use it or not. Not sure. 2-But on RC, somebody told me about ATS. They say one can load a reef with many fish...
3-Then somebody else told me about Eco-Wheel ... where I see your banner!!! This Eco-Wheel looks like the Ultimate approach to me . Calcium reactor, skimming and «plankton friendly». All that sounds great to me. My question is simple. If spacing and money are no object (but spacing is for me), considering only these three choices, what would you choose and why? I looking forward to this...

Do you mean an ETS skimmer? The ETS is the original high power skimmer, highest quality. The Reef Devil is a off shoot (copy) of that. Both are good. Although the ETS is know for its "Industrial size" meaning they make skimmers for public aquariums and the like. Either one is a good choice. I understood you wanted to fit the skimmer in the sump under the tank, so getting the right size is the most important factor. either skimmer is fine.
ETS is the highest quality. Reef devil is basically the same thing Both are fine choices The eco wheel cold be interesting.... but you may want to talk to some people who have used the product for a period of time.
Yes I have a link exchange with the people at Eco Wheel. However I don't have any first hand experience with their products. They have always seemed genuinely concerned about their place in the business and un doubt ably have a decent product, but again I have not used the product.
