What is the proper way to clean a tank that has been used for saltwater?

My son has a 6 gallon tank that was set up until we moved. We would like to set it up again, but don't know the proper way to clean it. It was set up for salt water fish.

And would also do the same again. Is there any chemicals to get the glass clean? It's been in storage for about 8 months. Thank You for your time hope to hear from you. Have a Great Day

I don't normally answer questions from non readers but... All you need to get the class clean is one of those nylon scrub pads (the flat 1/4 thick x 4 inches x 6 inches no soap on it just plain nylon) and some white vinegar and elbow grease.

Apply the vinegar with a rag and let it soak in for about 10 min then scrub, rinse and repeat as needed. Rinse thoroughly
