I just bought and read your book on SRK. I tried pulling up the GARF website on homemade live rock but the site was unavailable. Any suggestions?

You make a good point, I thought I had covered that. I know for sure I have a full explanation in one of my FAQ but here goes

The 3 overflows are connected together

On the back of the tank, on each bulkhead there is a 90 degree fitting pointing downward.
For example say the sump is on the left side of the tank (a target area to drain downward to).
The 90 elbow on the rear *right side* would connect directly to the main drain connector.
The 90 elbow in the center of the tank would have aprox a 3/4" pc of pvc so the main drain then becomes angled. (this 90 would go into a T on the main drain)
The left most 90 (closest to the sump) would have a 1.5" pc of pvc coming from the downward 90 into a T on the main drain.
so, now we have a straight pc of pvc (angled) toward the sump

In summary

3 elbows on the rear of the bulkheads (preferably threaded into the bulkheads)
1 main drain that the 3 overflows connect to the connections are made to the main drain via 1 90 deg elbow the other 2 use Ts
Also, an important note is to use a vent on the main drain to allow trapped air to escape (see pg 216)
