About black eggcrate in the reef aquarium
I've been reading about eggcrate in your book and need to find more information on this material to use in my reef aquarium
Eggcrate is a name for
-suspended ceiling lighting diffuser-
This is the stuff that goes in a suspended ceiling, where a light panel would
go.
The most common (for homes is 2 ft x 4 ft white) this can be had in any home
improvement center, although white is unsightly in a reef tank.
For commercial use black "eggcrate" is used its the same thing only colored, the
problem is that its not as common as white, but is worth the effort if you want
to use this in the reef tank
Here is a link on my site regarding eggcrate, you can do other searches there as
well

here is a picture of using black eggcrate
here is a excellent supplier of black eggcrate (and any other special plastic
you could ever need)
Modern Plastics
As for Raul Flores, He gets requests for black eggcrate from time to time. I
think its about $10 a 2x4 ft pc and probably $10 shipping.
Let me know if that answers your questions and good luck with your tank!
